Vegan Mayo

The same creamy and smooth texture, and the same taste... its just vegan!

Who doesn't love mayo! Traditionally, mayo is made with canola / vegetable oil and eggs. This mayo uses avocado oil instead making it Keto, Paleo and Whole30 compliant, tastes just like regular Mayo... and its VEGAN!

Recipe yields - 1.25 cups

Prep Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins


  • Avocado Oil - 1/2 cup

  • Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup

  • Avocado - 100 gms

  • Dijon Mustard - 1 tsp

  • Chia seeds - 1 tsp

  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

Method of Preparation

  1. Take a wide mouth glass jar / mason jar and add all the ingredients.

  2. Using an immersion hand blender, blend all the ingredients until the oil completely mixes in and it becomes a thick, smooth and creamy texture.

  3. Store it in the refrigerate in an airtight container for upto 7 days.

Pro Tips

  1. Don't have avocado oil, use a mild tasting olive oil. Olive oil has a very strong flavor that can be very overpowering. Therefore, make sure it is mild tasting.

  2. If you don't have an immersion blender, then you can use a food processor. While you could also use your blender for this, it is painful to scoop out all the mayo.
