Quick and easy classic pesto recipe
Pesto consists of crushed garlic, pine nuts, coarse salt, basil leaves, parmesan cheese, all blended with olive oil. This is a another make ahead sauce recipe which will soon become a staple in your cooking.

3 cups fresh basil leaves
1 cup pine nuts
4 cloves garlic, peeled
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Method of Preparation
In a food processor, blend together basil leaves, nuts, garlic, and cheese. Pour in oil slowly while still blending. Stir in salt and pepper
If you think the sauce is too dry drizzle additional olive oil, 1 tbsp at a time.
