Keto Palak Paneer

A Staple with a Keto Twist.

For vegetarians on keto, the carbs add up rather quickly. This recipe does not use any onions or tomatoes, thus keeping the net carbs really low but with no compromise on its delectable taste.

  1. Spinach, Fresh - 6.5 cups or 200 gms (uncooked)

  2. Malai Paneer - 1/2 cup or 100 gms, cubed

  3. Ghee - 2 tsp or 10 ml

  4. Garlic - 1 clove, finely chopped

  5. Ginger - 1/2 tsp grated

  6. Garam Masala / Pav Bhaji Masala - 1/2 tsp

  7. Salt - To taste

Method of preparation

  1. Wash the spinach well and remove stems, if not tender.

  2. In a wok, add spinach and a little water. Cover the wok and blanch the spinach, about 4 minutes.

  3. Cool the spinach and grind the spinach along with the remaining water to make a puree.

  4. In a pan heat ghee. Add grated garlic and ginger and fry for 30 seconds.

  5. Add paneer and saute till golden brown.

  6. Add the spinach puree, salt and gram masala or pav bhaji masala.

  7. Serve hot.
