Baked chickpea coated peanuts
Besan Coated Peanut is made with peanuts, gram flour and spices. Traditionally, this is deep fried but here we have opted to bake it instead making it a healthy and guilt free snack.

Raw Peanuts - 1 cup
Chick Pea Flour (Besan) - 5 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Chaat Masala - 1.5 tsp
Baking Soda - pinch
Salt - to taste
Cooking oil spray
Method of preparation
Preheat oven to 350F / 175C
Combine the besan, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, baking soda, salt and approx. 5 tbsp of water in a deep bowl and mix well using a whisk.
Add the peanuts and mix well.
Spread them over the baking tray.
Lightly spray cooking oil on the peanuts.
Bake the pieces for 15 minutes, until they're light golden brown.
Cool completely before transferring them to an airtight bottle and store it at room-temperature for upto 10 days.
