Bitter Gourd Vegetable Curry

Simple vegetable packed with nutritious goodness

This Karela Sabzi is a delicious and simple to cook. It is made from bitter gourd/ bitter melon, which is one of the most nutritious vegetables. Here we just made a simple stir fry to go with your Roti and Kadhi.

Ingredients
Karela/Bitter Gourd / Bitter melon chopped - 1 cup
Olive Oil - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Method of Preparation
In a wok, add the oil and wait till it gets warm.
On a medium flame, add the cumin seeds and saute for 30 seconds
Add the Turmeric and Chilli powder and saute for 30 seconds
Add the chopped karela and saute for 3-4 minutes or until the vegetable becomes soft
Add salt and mix
