Alfredo sauce is a staple sauce in Italian food. It is made with Parmesan cheese, cream and butter. As the cheese melts, it emulsifies the liquids to form a smooth and rich sauce making it perfectly low carb and keto friendly. Make a batch and store in your refrigerator. Drizzle this over your veggies or add it to your pasta and you have a delicious meal in no time.

  1. Unsalted Butter - 1/4 cup

  2. Heavy cream - 1 cup

  3. Parmesan Cheese - 1 and 1/2 cup, finely grated

  4. Garlic - 1 clove

  5. Salt - to taste

  6. Pepper - to taste

Method of Preparation

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat.

  2. Add garlic, cream and simmer for 5 minutes

  3. Add cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in salt and pepper

  4. Add it to your meal or cool and refrigerate it for upto 5 days.
